Demolition has always been recognised as a hazardous occupation, it is our aim to ensure that the associated risks are kept to an absolute minimum
We feel proud of our unblemished record and it reflects our commitment to a comprehensive safety policy, designed to respond to the rapidly changing construction and demolition industry and the process of introducing new Health & Safety, Employment and Environmental legislation and regulations.
Our greatest asset is our team and all members of staff are fully trained for the role they carry out. The development of individual annual training plans for everyone, from our site operatives through to the directors, ensures we maintain the highest standards of competence and actively promotes lifelong learning and development. Everyone has been through CITB approved courses and is qualified to CSCS and CPCS standards as a minimum.
In addition to investing in our team members, our processes and procedures have been developed to provide clients with the assurance that works are always carried out to the highest safety standard, efficiently and with the minimum of disruption to them and their neighbours.
Every project undertaken is subject to a comprehensive assessment of risk, the development of a bespoke Site Safety Plan and the dedicated attention of an appropriately qualified Appointed Person to manage the day-to-day activities in accordance with the plan. (We hold both CITB Site Supervisor qualified team members as well as SMSTS and IOSH certified managers).
With regular safety inspections and audits, we constantly monitor, review and amend our safety measures to maintain the highest levels of safety for our staff, clients and others affected by any works in which we are engaged.
