This project involved the demolition of a single-storey building constructed with brick and metal clad walls, cement sheet roofing and concrete floors.

This project comprised:

• Removal of interior mezzanine floor containing administration offices and welfare facilities.
• Removal of all asbestos containing materials
• Removal of internal bunded tank areas and collection and containment of all hazardous debris
• Demolition of superstructure down to slab

The nature of the chemicals previously stored/used on the site meant that particular care had to be taken to ensure employees were not exposed to any undue risks in addition to ensuring resulting debris was handled appropriately.
