This project involved the strip out and demolition of a two-storey brick built administration block with flat roof and concrete floors.

The project comprised:

• Full internal strip-out of offices and welfare facilities
• Demolition of superstructure
• Grubbing up of slab
• Removal of all arisings from site

The building was situated within, and at the entrance to, a live complex of operations which meant that particular care had to be taken in the planning and execution of works to ensure that employees and visitors using the complex entrance were not exposed to any risk. It also meant that services for the complex could not be interrupted.
